Zebra ZXP Series 8/9 Transfer Film 1250 Prints

Description

Zebra ZXP Series 8/9 Transfer Film 1250 Prints is required for printing cards with Zebra reverse-transfer printers. There is enough film for 1250 single-sided prints or 625 dual-sided cards.

This film utilizes retransfer printing technology. The ribbons first print on a thin film that then is thermally bonded to the card. There are some benefits to re-tansfer printing. It allows for high quality prints of images printing over the edge of the card which eliminates the while border that is left on the edges of the card with normal direct to card thermal printers. These printers allow for printing across a range of cards, including non-PVC cards and smart cards. The film makes it easy to print even if the surface is uneven or has marks like Mifare or other contactless technology cards.

This ribbon is only for use in the Zebra ZXP Series 8 and ZXP Series 9 range of printers
